Abstract
The US National Science Foundations supports international connectivity in support of Science and Engineering Research and Education though the Office of Cyber-Infrastructure International Research Connections Program.
This poster will present an overview of the projects in the first round of the IRNC program (IRNC-I, 2005-2009) and also an overview of the projects selected for the follow-on IRNC program (IRNC-II, 2010-2014). (It is expected that the awards will have been made by the time of the meeting, if not we will speculate on what projects are likely to be supported).
The speaker is PI of the TransLight/PacificWave IRNC-I project; many of the connections supported by IRNC use the Pacific Wave Exchange facilities supported by this project.
